Contest of works of young photo amateurs
«Pervotsvit-2010»
The Contest of works of young photo amateurs «Pervotsvit» (hereinafter referred to as the Contest) is conducted on the basis of Chortkiv district center of scientific and technical creative work of pupil youth, Chortkiv regional department of National union of photoartists of Ukraine. It is opened for all persons interested and for teams, who unite the youth thanks to photoart. The organizers are interested in the most broad geography of the contest.
Purpose and task of the Contest:
- search and development of the new young talents;
- search for like-minded persons and experience exchange with them;
- increase of photoart role in moral and ethical education of young generation;
- further development of photoart among youth;
- increase of network of circles of young photo amateurs, promotion of enrichment of material and technical basis and artistic skill of the circle members;
- popularization and promotion of the best works of young photo amateurs.

Participants of the Contest
Single photo amateurs, artistic teams of young photo amateurs (circle, studio, club, union, etc.) take part in the Contest. The Contest is conducted according to two age categories (author’s age on March 2010):
- А (14 years old and younger);
- B (15-20 years old).
Black-and-white and colour photography, free topic (except nudes) up to 5 works from the author in digital format with high resolution are accepted at the contest. The works and competed application form (Appendix No. 1) are sent at the organizer’s address:

The results of the Contest and gallery of the best works will be published after summing up on the sight http://pervocvit. ucoz.ua
The organizing committee has the right to use photoworks, sent to the contest, for placing them on pages of serial publications, decorative design of exhibitions, in the Internet (small size), etc. with the purpose of popularization of the Contest without notification of the authors and honorarium payment, but with obvious indication of the author. The authors bear responsibility for the rights violation of the third persons.
The works are evaluated according to the following criteria:
- quality of performing
- originality of concept
- level of emotional influence
Awarding of winners.
Due to the results of the Contest the authors-winners are awarded with diplomas and prizes.

Diploma for the best works
Possible additional prizes and awards from the organizers and sponsors of the Contest.
Those, who wish to take part in the ceremony of opening, should inform the organizers about this. The awards of the participants, who can’t be present at the awarding ceremony, will be sent at the postal address of the author or the collective, which he presents.
